About James Martin

Welcome to James Martin Investigates. I’m James Martin, an investigative journalist. I’ve found that researching past, present, and possible future events has always been a pleasure for me. I study politics, history, economics, and science. I have a Master’s degree in Education Administration, a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and a Bachelor’s degree in Cinematography.

I do my best to study, compare, and contrast books, texts, reports,   articles and videos. I’m always in search for that most elusive of values – truth. Not just any truth, but the whole (complete) truth of any topic or phenomenon that concerns me.

I was raised to believe that a half-truth is a whole lie. It seems that that’s too a high standard for many of our fellow citizens to meet, but fortunately for us, not most. By that HIGH standard many of the generalizations that we encounter today, that contain some truths, are lies.

Conflating truth with falsity is, unfortunately, as common as its ever been. Failure to live by the highest standard for truth has caused both told and untold problems in our society. The term ‘fake news’ has become a common descriptor for much of the new information that appears in communications throughout the world these days.

As I’ve said, mine is a quest for truth. I hope to enlist your voluntary support as citizen investigators for answering some of the most important questions facing our nation, our world, and our future in the universe.

As editor, I will always endeavor to publish every opinion and fact that you present in either the comments section or in your emails. If I find that many of you share the same fact or opinion and there is enough space to publish them, I will do so. Otherwise, I will publish the best of them and give you the number of those who agree with you. I will not publish slanders or defamations or profanity.

If you want to contribute your opinions or opinions and facts without giving your name, feel free to use a nom de plume. A pen name is a time honored tradition in many fields of expression and it will be honored here.

Website Operation

This website is intended to work like the comments section in many of the stories we see in print and video today. The best comments are opinions supported with facts. Opinions without facts to back them are welcome, if you get that gut feeling (intuition) that tells you that you are right. Facts that support the opinion of another contributor can be useful. That’s what we’re after. That’s what’s worth reporting to our fellow citizens.

Reporting

The best comments are opinions supported with facts. I intend to post here as frequently as possible, so make sure to bookmark this page. You can also subscribe to never miss a new report.
